This Standard describes the procedure for preparing handsheets from pulp samples for subsequent testing in accordance with AS/NZS 1301.208s:1989. The revision includes an alternative procedure for recirculating white water during forming. The alternative procedure is applicable to certain high yield pulps which contain a substantial proportion of fine material , and where it is desired to retain the fines component in the test sheets. The detailed description of the apparatus has been deleted because that is now covered in AS/NZS 1391.214s:1993.
